Faith is active. The book of James tells us that any faith which doesn't produce works of righteousness is a dead faith.
Christ-followers know the best news in the world:
Jesus Christ lived a perfect life, died a sinless death, and rose from the grave to claim victory over sin and death. In
doing so, He provided salvation freely by grace to all who repent and believe - saving them from the wrath of
God towards sinners. Our response to this good news should be to go and proclaim it to the world.
. . .
At West Chester Baptist Church, we believe that the next necessary step in every Christian's discipleship
process is to live out their faith as we go together to make disciples of our community and world.
For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How
then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are
they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they
to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless
they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those
who preach the good news!”
